Scott Hitchon M.P.S.E  is a freelance DGC sound editor and re-recording mixer working out of Toronto, Canada.

"A silent world is a boring world." Scott loves how the right sounds can bring a story to life and he is passionate about creating immersive sound stories unique to each project. Scott believes that sound should tell its own story and enrich the viewers experience by adding depth and breadth to the production.

His work is award winning: Scott has won awards such as a DGC Award  (2024) for the show Fellow Travelers and a CSA for Best Sound, Non-Fiction (2021) for the documentary Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band.
